Graham has over 40 years experience in ecology
He has worked in Environmental Consultancy for almost 20
years with clients including Design Engineers, Planning
Consultants, Architects, Environmental Consultants,
Ecological Consultants, The National Assembly of Wales, The
Highways Agency, The Environment Agency and English Nature.
From 2004 he has lectured at Bath Spa University on
wildlife conservation, ecological assessment, animal
behavior and statistics and is the Course Director for the
MSc in Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA). Before this he
was the Head of Ecology for SGS Environment and briefly the
Lead Ecologist for the Babtie group. He has managed EcIAs
for both small and large development projects: including
the Second Severn Crossing that bridges the River Severn
between England and Wales, and the 56km highway improvement
works of the A465 in Mid-Wales
Although his background is in birds and mammals, his
principal areas of expertise are in Nature Conservation
Legislation, Ecological Monitoring, Statistics, GIS, Risk
and Decsion Anlaysis.
